What makes your self-tanning products unique?

Sunnee BaeSkin is all about giving you that sunnee tan and treating your skin right.

Our formulas are loaded with hydrating, ocean-inspired ingredients like blue-green algae, sea kelp, wakame extract, and moringa seed oil. Think of it as your BFF that loves your skin as much as you do!

What are the benefits of the key ingredients in Sunnee Bae formulas?

Do your self-tanners have a noticeable scent?

Just a subtle, ocean-kissed vibe. No funky self-tanner smell here!

Will these products dry out my skin?

Nope, not on our watch! Hydration is the name of our game. DHA, the active ingredient in the formula which creates the tanning effect, is a naturally dry ingredient. Thanks to our marine-infused formula, we created it with your skin in mind.

Is there SPF in the self-tanners?

Our self-tanners don’t have SPF, so they won’t protect against sunburn. Make sure you lather on your favorite sunscreen anytime you’re soaking up the sun! Glow responsibly, always

Are the products safe for pregnant / breastfeeding women? 

Yes! The FDA has approved DHA (the magic ingredient in self-tanners) for topical use, so it’s safe when used as directed. That said, we always recommend chatting with your doctor first to keep things worry-free.

Are the products safe to use on sensitive skin? 

Sunnee BaeSkin products are Dermatologist Tested and Allergy Tested, so they’re gentle enough for even the most sensitive baes. Your skin is in for a treat, but make sure to do a patch test 24 hours prior to applying to your entire body for extra measure!

Can I use BAEside Sea Mousse or Sea Spray on my face? 

Totally! All our products are facial-friendly, but we also have a dedicated facial mist and serum (BAEside Sea Mist and BAEside SEArum) if you’re looking for that perfect glow-up for your cheeks.

Applying the Tan!

Do I need to exfoliate before applying the self-tanner?

Yes! Smooth skin is happy skin. Exfoliate the day before to make sure your tan is flawless and streak-free. Skip lotions, oils, and perfumes pre-application, or your tan might not develop as gorgeously as you’d like.

Can I shave right before application?

Shave at least 12 hours before applying to avoid streaks from shaving bar wax. Your tan deserves the smoothest start!

How long will my spray tan last?

Your tan’s staying power depends on the TLC you give it. Stay moisturized, drink water, and avoid super hot showers, pools, and Jacuzzis to keep your tan lasting.

Is there a specific product I should use if I am super pale? I don’t want to be orange. 

The beautiful thing about Sunnee Bae is that everything is Made For You!

Our formulas are customizable. For a light tan, only keep it on for 2 hours. A medium tan, keep it on for 4 hours. For a dark tan, keep it on for 6+ hours. If you are on the fairer side, we recommend starting at a 2 hour rinse mark.

Time to rinse, what do I do? 

Keep it simple. No soap, just lukewarm water and your hands to gently rinse off the bronzer. Focus on spots like legs, behind your arms, and ears. Pat dry with a soft towel – don’t rub. A thorough rinse means no streaky surprises later!

What do I do if I have streaks after showering?

No worries—hop back in the shower for another rinse. Streaks can happen if soap or shaving residue wasn’t fully cleaned off beforehand.

How do I remove solution on the palms of my hands and/or bottom of my feet?

Quick fix: grab an alcohol pad and wipe the areas where you don’t want the tan. Easy, breezy cleanup!

When can I apply lotion? 

Hydration is key! Moisturize twice a day to keep your tan looking fresh.

My tan isn’t dark enough after I rinsed, what do I do? 

Hold tight! Your glow will keep developing for up to 24 hours. If you’re still craving a deeper tan, reapply and let the magic happen.

I am too dark, what do I do? 

It happens, we all get tied up and sometimes forget to rinse off when we planned to! Try rinsing again, soaking in a bath, or hitting up a sauna or Jacuzzi to lighten things up.

Can I still tan outside?

For sure! Just remember our self-tanners don’t have UV protection, so layer on a water-based SPF to keep your skin safe while you enjoy that sunshine.

Can I self-tan if I recently had surgery? 

We recommend waiting until you’re fully healed and all wounds are completely closed. Always check with your doctor before using self-tanner post-surgery.

Can I self-tan if I recently got a tattoo? 

Not until it’s totally healed. Once there’s no open skin, you’re good to go. Double-check with your doctor if you’re unsure.

Will self-tanning stain my bed sheets, clothes, and/or dress? 

Maybe a little during development, but no biggie- it’ll rinse out. Just be sure your first rinse is thorough to avoid extra rub-off drama.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

However, this does not apply to item(s) damaged during transit. 

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, you must first email us within 7 days of receiving the damaged item(s) at info@sunneebaeskin.com and alert us of the damage along with an image. 

One of our customer service representatives will reach out to you once we have received your email and will advise you on how to return it to us. 

Upon receipt of the damaged item, we will ship out a replacement, if available. If a replacement is not available we will refund the full purchase price of your item minus shipping costs which will reflect in your bank account in 3-5 business days.

How long does shipping take?

Our goal is to get your products to you ASAP! Orders placed Monday- Friday before 2PM PST, will be shipped the same day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship out the next available business day.

Once you order has been fulfilled and shipped out, delivery time is usually between 2-5 days depending on the time zone and your chosen shipping method. 

West Coast takes about 2-3 days while East Coast is about 4-5 days.

How much is shipping? Where do you ship to?

We offer both domestic and international shipping to 20+ countries around the world. When you enter your address at checkout, the cart will populate your shipping fee as long as we are able to ship to your country.

How long does it take to get my order during holidays?

While we do our best to ship out orders within 1-business day and into your hands within 2-5 business days... during holiday seasons, this time frame can increase to 2-8 days transportation due to increased orders and carrier delays.  The following dates are days our warehouse will not be shipping out orders:

How can I track my order?

We will send you a tracking number to your email once your package has been shipped. Please track your order using the tracking link in your email.

Will I pay customs?

Packages shipped internationally, may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination.

Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.

Such fees are payable directly to your carrier upon receiving your shipment as they have the responsibility of collecting and reporting such fees to the respective authorities.
